One-liner

"If AFK Arena were written by people who'd opened a JIRA ticket."

Description (paragraph)

hero-proto is a satirical mobile gacha RPG set in a near-future corporate IT department. Players collect overworked sysadmins, predatory consultants, retired mainframe gurus, and feral helpdesk gremlins; battle tickets, audits, and pager storms; join guilds for shared-HP boss raids; and progress through an alignment-fork story where they ultimately decide whether to take down the Corp or become it. Monetization follows the Path of Exile 2 model — cosmetics and quality-of-life upgrades only, never raw stat power. The game runs as a Progressive Web App today and is heading to the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Description (short)

A free-to-play gacha RPG that satirizes corporate IT life. Collect helpdesk veterans, fight ticket gremlins, raid the boss in your guild, and either take down the Corp or become it. No pay-to-win, no predatory mechanics, lots of jokes about pager rotations.
